Parque Arví is located right outside of Medellin and is an expansive ecological natural reserve known for its lush landscapes, diverse flora and fauna, and outdoor recreational opportunities.
Covering over 16,000 hectares, the park provides a tranquil escape from the city, especially during the week when the breeders are working and their snotty-nosed kids are terrorizing their teachers at school. With no screaming children and barking poodles, you can hear the crickets chirping, the birds singing and the frogs croaking. It’s a veritable paradise!
We took the K line of the MetroCable from the Acevedo Station up to the Santo Domingo Station and then took the L line cable car directly to the park, nestled high above Medellin. Parque Arví offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage, making it a great place to connect with nature…and the perfect place for Jaxon to walk around half naked!
